I hope that our professional community of teachers who integrate ITL into teaching and learning will be strengthened and broadened because of the work in the ITL Summer Institute.

I hope to learn how to use the vast array of technology in order to help my students grasp a higher level of understanding of the world of science.

In the book, Up the Down Staircase,Bel Kaufman mentions the notion of "Let it be a challenge to you!" This is the thought that comes to mind. That is, I hope to apply at least one piece of learning to my 2007-08 class this year.

I hope to learn how to develop new methods of teaching to be able to reach all of the students across all settings, and to work more collaboratively with my team in a new dynamic way.

I hope to enrich my elementary teaching of a second language(Spanish)through the use of age and skills appropriate technology. All of this while traveling to various rooms with varying levels of technology available.

I would like to learn about the Wikis and how I can use this in my classrooms. I also would like to use the digital storytelling--can't wait!

My main question is one of purpose--how can these technologies help me/others in my role? I hope to learn effective ways to share information--but I always ask why? What do I have to share? Who Am I?

Looking forward to learning the venues for collaboration between my workshop students - ways for them to tie all of their separate interests and passions together.

I hope to continue the journey I began this past year at GFS learning and becoming comfortable with Web 2.0 and technologies that are/were new to me. I learned so much at the NECC conference in Atlanta. I hope to create a wiki for my TV10 club and to collaborate with the GFS teachers that are at the ITL summer institute on projects we can continue next year.

Well, I just learned something new and hope to continue! I hope to use technology and collaboration more effectively with students & colleagues.

I already see that I will be learning many new things. I am especially looking forward to refining my research projects.

I'm hoping to be EXCITED and IGNITED by new ideas using technolgy, collaboration, and information literacy!!

I am looking foward to learning ways to use Podcasts and Digital Storytelling in the classroom. Also, I hope to collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm ways to improve upon our AG Wiki for the upcoming school year.

My goal is to leave this institute having gained clarity on using one or more elements of ITL. I would like to share this info with my colleagues on my new grade level team.

Anxious to burn through another school year with teachers and students at SHS using information and technology as much as possible to keep the life-long learning fires lit!

I hope that I can apply all the new information I learn into my 4th grade teaching this year.
