I hope that our professional community of teachers who integrate ITL into teaching and learning will be strengthened and broadened because of the work in the ITL Summer Institute.

I hope to learn how to use the vast array of technology in order to help my students grasp a higher level of understanding of the world of science.

In the book, Up the Down Staircase,Bel Kaufman mentions the notion of "Let it be a challenge to you!" This is the thought that comes to mind. That is, I hope to apply at least one piece of learning to my 2007-08 class this year.

I hope to learn how to develop new methods of teaching to be able to reach all of the students across all settings, and to work more collaboratively with my team in a new dynamic way.

I hope to enrich my elementary teaching of a second language(Spanish)through the use of age and skills appropriate technology. All of this while traveling to various rooms with varying levels of technology available.

I need some nice, concrete ideas that I can readily implement as a brand new library media specialist.
I am particularly interested in using wiki's as a communication tool. Anything that gets people communicating with each other.

My main question is one of purpose--how can these technologies help me/others in my role? I hope to learn effective ways to share information--but I always ask why? What do I have to share? Who Am I?

I hope to continue the journey I began this past year at GFS learning and becoming comfortable with Web 2.0 and technologies that are/were new to me. I learned so much at the NECC conference in Atlanta. I hope to create a wiki for my TV10 club and to collaborate with the GFS teachers that are at the ITL summer institute on projects we can continue next year.
